What the heck is this..The writing is great, the world is really really interesting and i think i has a great potential overall.BUT! The story started off great, with a lowkey MC which behaves as someone who lives a second time, the other characters are fine and got their own personalities and the powers of the world are solidly built. Until the story started, everything crashes from then on. We get to see the reason why MC is stabbed in the back (spoiler: he has no awareness of his surroundings on top of being an idiot). The groups consist of ppl who are unworthy of their high position, surrounded by mobs of one dimensional characters that do bad things that go unpublished, and so many other negative things to be listed. And Oh! Apparently, the "game" starts at chapter 300 or so. What i hate the most is the author's sense of humor. I cant believe im saying thia because even the trashiest humor can score a little in my book.. But this is just unbearable. You can see tons of novels with great story with subpar writing, this is the opposite of that. Good writing but with a bad overall story progression. Dont waste your time on this novel.
Thx for the review mate, I shall stay 6 feet away from this novel.P.s when giving spoiler , use the the spoiler tag format (the quotations)
1.5/5 rating . The author cant write 3 clearly written sentences. He jumps from one point to another during conversations all the time. The grammar is fine, but im sure the author didnt even check what he has written. Its very tiring reading this novel....Other than the badly way the novel is written, the content is nothing new as well. Anything you can imagine from classic chinese modern day novels, you will find here as well ..If the author improved his writing and made the writing flow nicely, then it would be a classic average modern day chinese novel, with OP MC, that i would gladly read to kill some time. Sadly, the writing is very bad, and the author should revise the chapters before publishing them(Ofcourse, thats in case he wants his novel to be more popular).
Acc to NUI'm just gonna copy paste since there are only 2 reviews and both state the complete opposite. For what it is, it is good. This is a story you have seen in more than a few manhua: Protagonist cultivated and became a strong existence only to get back-stabbed.Returns to his high school days and restarts cultivation. Luckily, he not only knows a little about the future (because he's been there) but also owns the strongest cultivation art.Why is this better than many manhua with this story? The main character seems intelligent enough and although he was once powerful, regaining that strength takes him quite some effort. There is suspense. Also, the translation is pretty goodandThis is just bland. The idea is a mix of virtual reality games + rebirth + cultivation. Sucks in all three aspects.Thots are thots for the sake of it.IQ seems non existent for most people.Villains are evil just for the sake of being evil.I somehow dragged myself to 100 chapters but I cannot anymore. Its just too stale. Everyone looks down on MC > MC shows off his true strength/influence/wealth > Still everyone looks down on MC > and repeat. Also, the novels on haitus so...
